Can I take two Prilosec a day?

Answer by  sdfarmer (374)

For general acid reflux, Prilosec can be taken once daily 30 minutes before breakfast. However, it is advisable to take twice daily if the reflux is severed. It is cheaper alternative to Nexium. For H. Pyloric patient, the regimen requires the patient to take twice daily.

Typically, Prilosec is taken once a day. As with any medication, follow directions as on box for over the counter medication, and according to instructions given by your physician.
