You can take your child out of state assuming you do not have a criminal background and that the child is legally yours to take out of the state.

I don't know the specific circumstances you're in - but I'm assuming you are divorced and want to move out of the state where your ex lives. It all depends on custody and whether or not your ex will fight you on your decision.

Yes - we took our 6 week old away on vacation with us. They are usually fine to travel, assuming no medical issues / conditions at a very young age.

You can take your child out of state for vacation or to move if you choose. However, if you're in a custody agreement with the child's other parent you should notify the parent and the person in charge of the custody arrangement to prevent any problems that may happen with you traveling out of state.
