A pregnancy test would not be positive during an actual menstrual period. A positive pregnancy test during bleeding would indicate not menstruation, but a pregnancy related complication. Ovulation occurs approximately 14 days before your period begins, thus conception does not take place until that time.

Yes you can take a pregnancy test during menstruation but the results might not be adequate, since the blood might contaminate the test.

There is no reason you can't since menstruation will not affect your urine, but if you are truly menstruating (and not just spotting) then you are not pregnant.

You may take a pregnancy test while menstruating and the results will be accurate. However if you hare having a true period there is no reason to test.
