It depends--are you a good salesperson? I guess hypothetically, you could get enough of a commission to live off of, but realistically, this is unlikely. Avon is good for extra cash, but you probably shouldn't quit your day job.
You can support yourself selling Avon, but you will need to create a down line of people so that you can benefit from their sales while you sell as well.
I recommend that you do NOT quit your job until your income from selling Avon is more than you earn from your regular job. Most people use Avon as a supplement to their income instead of their primary source of revenue. But if you work hard at growing your client list, you might do well enough to quit your job.
Residual income by those you recruit into Avon sales is the best money maker, not your own direct sales. If you can recruit several key sales people into your chain, you may make enough to quit your job.
I would say it's a good supplement to your income. If you work really hard you probably could pull it off. You have to know a lot of people that you can sell the Avon products to and learn ways to find new clients.
