You can if you have the right software. I would suggest downloading avg anti virus. That is free and will help you get ridof the vundo virus which can be pretty nasty. Better take care of it soon.

To remove it successfully you have to install "Malware bytes anti-malware". You just have to install it and update it. After that just do a complete scan.

Yes you can get rid of it yourself. Open the start menu and choose search option. Enter Vundo. Set the option to search through local hard drives and my computer. Select once found. Open start menu enter regedit on run menu. Locate and remove.

The easiest way would be to activate Microsoft Security Agents, then enable real-time spyware threat protection. The final step is to download vundofix.exe and everything should work out.
