The answer is yes, but there is a catch to it. Both phones have to be at&t phones, because they use similar sim cards. However the phone will not work if your service has been canceled or terminated. For the go phone you have to purchase minute cards and you would add the minutes to your new phone like normal.

If you have an AT&T phone (and SIM card) then yes. I lost my AT&T phone, bought a go phone, put my SIM card and it is workign great!

That all depends, is your simcard a cingulair or at&t? If so, then yes. This is a common switch for customers who want a quick replacement phone.

Sims cards are carrier specific, as long as the sim card is from the same carrier as your new phone then you can transfer the card to the new phone, if not then the new carrier can usually move the phone lists to the new phone and sometimes the photos too.

The major carrier phones will use a sim card. You just have to put your sim card into a phone that matches your carrier. So if you have AT&T you have to use an AT&T prepaid phone.
