Can I plant a blue spruce in a pot?

You can first start out by planting your blue spruce tree in a pot but then it will have to be transferred outside or to another pot that is bigger than the one that you started out with. Eventually you will have to plant your tree outside because it will get too big.

You can plant a blue spruce in a pot but the liklihood of leaving it there is notta! They grow to be over 100' tall. On the other hand, the Montgomery blue spruce is a dwarf tree and is programmed to grow slowly and to stay small.

Yes, it can be planted in a pot for a short period of time. Make sure the pot can sustain the roots and plant outside asap.
