If the case for failure to appear has been resolved and you must pay a fine and court costs, you can discuss a payment arrangement when you go to make the first payment. The court can at its discretion refuse anything but payment in full, but certainly ask about options.

If a fine has been leveled against you, you may be able to, but you really need to consult the court, as there may be a bench warrant against you for defaulting on your appearance. You may need the formality of appearing before the judge to get your payment approved and your default lifted. Ask the Clerk of Court.

If you fail to appear for civil court and judgment is rendered against you, it is up to the prevailing party to accept partial payment on the judgment. If you fail to appear in criminal court, then a bench warrant for your arrest may have been signed by the judge and you cannot make payments on that.
