Can I give handmade birthday cards to my family and friends?

In order to cut down on cost I have started to make my own birthday cards and want to make sure it is not offensive.

Handmade cards are better than store-bought IF you put some real effort into it and not just slapped together trash you had around the house. Think about it and decide if YOU would be happy receiving the card you're about to give to someone else. If yes, then go ahead. If not, store-bought cards aren't that expensive.

Handmade cards are the best birthday cards you can give to your loved ones. As long as you make them creative and put a message of your own for each individual person.

Of course you can. It shouldn't be about what you get for your birthday. It should be about the fact that someone care enough to hand make you a card.

If your taking a piece of notebook paper and putting happy birthday on it, then no. If you are spending time and they look nice they are acceptable.

Yes, you can give your family and friends handmade birthday cards. This would be a very great idea! This is less expensive and it is very creative as well.
