You may be able to find an agreeable timeshare listing on Craig's List. Make sure you confirm the listing, and contact the property management. Don't EVER send money in any form through the mail or via Western Union, which is a sure sign of a scam.

Timeshare listings can be found in many locations including Craigslist. The more professional looking the listing the more likley the timeshar elisting will be a valid one. The listing should include pictures, descriptions, length of stay, cost of timeshare as well as directions to the location. Craigslist continues to be a valid source for timeshare listings

You can find a good timeshare anywhere and if they are advertised on craigslist you will most likely find yourself a good deal. People are probably in dire straights if ads are placed here.

When buying a timeshare, you will need to go through a closing and you should get title insurance. Title insurance will let you know exactly what you are buying.

Craigslist is a mix of good and bad to both extremes. While you certainly can find a good timeshare on Craigslist, it helps to use common sense and to be cautious. Never give out personal information unless you are sure an opportunity is sounds. Copy and paste the text of timeshare ads into a Google search, if it turns up many times, it is probably a spammer. Run a reverse phone search on any phone numbers to investigate the probability that it is someone legitimate.
