Can I change from shingles to a metal roof on a manufactured home?

No, the support beams and rafters are not as strong as the traditional home counter parts. There is an option called a roof over, however that would permit the change.

yes of course you can, you would just need to rip out all the old shingles, and check for holes or damages. Then you are going to need to measure the width and length of your roof, this procedure can be costly or can be done by yourself.

You could change from shingles to a metal roof. I wouldn't like it though since metal roofs conduct more heat and make a lot of noise when it rains.
