Yes, this is very possible. One router will be acting a as DHCP server for IP addresses and the other will be acting as mere switch.

Yes, of course. You can attach one router per any connection that your modem has. Normally a modem has 1 input connection (internet line) and 4 output connections (RJ45 standard network). You have to plug a cable from any of these connections to the Internet connection of your router and it will work just fine.

You can but it makes no sense to attach two routers. It would actually be better to attach two modems to one router. Having two routers even if it is for different internet services and what not makes no sense. You will just need one router and that will be sufficient.

Yes it can be done, decide what and where the routers should go. There should be directions on how to connect the two routers together.

You can't attach the second router direct to the modem. Connect one router to the modem and the other to this router (1st router should have a switch).

Assuming that you are asking about a cable-/DSL-modem? Yes. Some/Most Cable/DSL-modems only accept (1)device/MAC-address; Connect either: MODEM-ROUTER-ROUTER or ROUTER | MODEM-ETHERNET_SWITCH (NOT "hub"!) | router

No. The correct link is connected to a router moden and then another router connected to the first. Consult the manual of the router. All connections have to be there.

Yes. It is commonly referred to as bridging the routers and can be done in different ways. No matter what router you will need to make some changes in the router settings. The brand tells which method you will need to use after that.
