Can goldfinches be kept in a cage that is inside the house?

Yes they can the only thing you can't do is keep them in a cage alone there has to be more than one in each cage otherwise they will die from lonliness.

It is illegal to capture and keep wild birds as pets. A bird that is accustomed to living in the wild wouldn't be happy confined to a cage. If you find an injured bird, contact a wildlife rehabilitation specialist.

Yes, you certainly can keep them inside your house but you will have to be sure that you don't keep one bird at a time as they might die like this.

Capturing wild birds and make them as a pet are illegal.A bird that used to living in the wild,wouldn't be happy if they will put in a cage.
