Can cheating be found in our genes?

No, as nice and comforting as it would be to have the ability to blame cheating on our genetic makeup, personality traits like this are not found within the human body, but rather inside the human brain and natural instincts. Cheating is unfortunately a choice, and the people who make it are completely responsible for their actions.

It is possible, but very unlikely. Cheating is typically a learned behavior, and one that can be prevented through good parenting early in life. However, there may be a gene (or a collection of genes) that makes a person more likely to rebel, which could manifest in cheating.
