Can birds move their eggs?

Answer by  vinu (68)

No, birds cannot move their eggs. Because birds donot have the capability to carry the eggs, but some birds like penguins carry their egg on top of their feet and also some ground nesting bird move the egg very short distance

Most can't, but some ground-nesting birds can move them short distances to return them to the nest if they've rolled away. Penguins, however, can move their eggs quite some distance.

Yes,depending on the species of bird. Sometimes they will throw them out of the nest if they feel the egg is no good. Birds generally don't move their eggs from place to place, but I have seen ducks roll their eggs around the yard and hide them in various spots.
