Automechanics can repair riding lawn mowers but often they can be repaired at home by the owner. The basic riding mower is constructed just like the cars in the good old days. The have a spark plugs which should be replaced yearly,the fuel line is the next trouble spot in mowers.

Auto mechanics should be able to repair ride on mowers as the engine is comprised of the same elements. The best thing to do is ring your local mechanic and see if they are willing to repair it.
