Spider bites usually cause a blister or pustual on top of the bite within one to two days. This can be very irritating and itchy. There venom is too weak to be dangerous. Keep an eye out for infection.

The Malibu sand flea and its near relative the Rocky Mountain brown gnat come to mind. They land on the skin and rapidly rub it. No one knows why.

Fire ants produce bites that turn into little blistery bumps or pimples. Brown recluse spiders leave bites that turn into blisters within a couple of days.

Yes. Skin can become iritated and itchy. Raised red welts and water blisters can form from insects so microscopic you can't even see them.
