I would never recommend alternative medicine to help you with a health condition. Not when you have medicine that has been proven to work. I would suggest asking your doctor of something to help with that. He will know what is good for your body.

Alternative medicine may be able to help. Yam extract and other high estrogen compounds may help. However, if you do not have a diagnosis for why these periods are abnormal, get a doctor's diagnosis before seeking alternative treatments for the condition.

There are many people that believe in the use of alternative medicine to help with periods, to get them back on track and to help them be more regular. You should consult with someone that has experience in holistic medicine and consider acupunture as it is known for wonderful results.

Yes, there is medicine that can help with abnormal periods. Your health care provider might prescribe different kinds of medicines to help regulate your periods. Birth Control pills are the most common and a supplement maybe prescribe also, which can help. Your doctor will do test to determine which will be best for you.
