Can a cat have blue skin?

I saw a cat on TV with blue skin, and I don't know if it was for real or not.

Depends on how blue. Some solid gray cats appear slightly blue. Their skin is a similar color to their fur. They won't be royal blue, though.

There have been some cats that are born with skin that looks blue. These cats are usully siamese cats and they might have little fur or none at all. They skin color is actually not blue, but a very unusal form of gray. If your cat is a regular American cat, I would have the vet look at it.

kitchens can have blue skin. Their skin is not exactly blue but it appears to be and this disappears when their coat warms up. But a cat can not have a blue skin.

Many cats, especially black or dark gray cats, can have a blue hue to their skin. Many times the blue color will be very dark and closest to the black spectrum of colors. If the cats skin was bright blue then it may have been painted. Cat painting is a controversial but very popular new trend for cat owners.

Yes, certain cats do have blue skin. Oftentimes skin color on a cat reflects hair color, so where there is white hair the skin underneath is white, where there is dark hair the skin underneath is dark. It isn't uncommon for hairless cats to have dark colored skin, including blue skin.

Yes, this is possible. A cat can have almost any color of skin, although often it will have some correlation to their fur.
