They start walking at 4 to 6 weeks of age. First they will start crawling around a lot and try to stand up with their little legs. It is so cute, but they won't end up really walking till about a month old, maybe a month and a half. Congratulations on the new members of the family.

I would expect a puppy to be walking at between three and five weeks after birth. Smaller pups are likely to walk sooner than larger breeds. Well nourished puppies will walk sooner than those on restricted diet.

Most puppies will crawl around almost immediately after birth; they kind of scoot, but they move close to their mother in order to suckle. By three weeks, they should have a good grasp on walking around, and if they do not, then something serious is wrong with your little ones.
