Actually, the skinny jean trend is over now. RIght now, designers have embraced wide legged slouchy pants. Nothing too structured, but more carefree and loose. It will give off a boho chic look that looks effortlessly pulled together when paired with a floral tunic. So wide leg pants are in style, just be careful that they aren't too structured.

Yes, they are for women with a heavier thigh these are often a better option. They're also much more comfortable.
