A water pick is better used for removing particles stuck between teeth, but standard waxed dental floss is the better way to clean between teeth and clean the surface of the teeth.

Water piks are excellent to use but unfortunately they should not replace flossing. There is a really neat water pik that hooks to the shower head.

Using a water pic is better than brushing alone but flossing is far better. By flossing you can thoroughly remove plaque from each tooth and reach where the water cannot.

Water picks are not better than flossing; water picks do not get at the gum line between your teeth. However, if you do not floss much and are willing to use a water pick, it is worth while to get one so that you do increase your oral hygiene level.
