Are there really "forces of evil" in the world?

This depends on what you believe in. If you believe in a supreme being, then possibly. If you believe in science, then possibly. As you can se, we do not know. Its what you want to believe.

It's hard to say if "forces of evil" truly exist or not, but there's no doubt that evil itself is present everywhere you look. Just as there are truly good people in the world who will do their best to help others, there are also truly bad people who will do just the opposite.
