Most definitely, in the Old and New Testament. For example, a prostitute helps Joshua's men take the city of Jericho and there is a famous story where Jesus allows a prostitute to wash his feet.

Yes. Rahab, in the book of Joshua, is a prostitute who helps the Hebrews conquer the city of Jericho. In return, her family is kept safe. In the book of Genesis, Tamar impersonates a temple prostitute to entice her father-in-law to obey the law.
