Are there any good Jewish slaughter houses?

Other than the popular brands such as "hebrew national" there are not very many. The reason for this is that the majority of the selected "jewish" slaughterhouses use the traditional method if slitting of the throat which is against several animal cruelty laws. So as far as "good" goes, i would have to say no.

All of the Jewish slaughter houses I found in my research had been cited for violations due to the fact that they follow the traditional slaughtering technique which is to slit the animals throat and let the blood flow out. This type of slaughter is at present against government regulations.

According to my research there do not appear to be Jewish slaughter houses that have not been cited for cruelty to animals. At a kosher slaughter house animals are killed by the ritual cut to the neck and allowed to bleed out. This is considered to be against federal law.

Hebrew National is a recognized Kosher brand and they are usually found synomous with Jewish Kosher culture and with slaughter houses.
