bathroom

Question by  kherasakshi (124)

Are the floor tiles in my bathroom permanently damaged by the white stains?

I'm not exactly certain what's caused the stains. It could be from years of contact with hard water. Do I need to replace the tile?

Probably hard water stains. Try the mixing 1/2 cup of baking soda,1/3 cup of ammonia,1/4 cup of white vinegar, and 7 cups of water together. Spray or wipe it on and see if this removes it. As always spot check in a non-conspicuous place first. DO NOT get desperate and start scrubbing with anything really abrasive. Good luck!

The floor tiles are probably never going to be returned to their original color but they are not physically damaged. It depends on whether the appearance is important to you or not.

It never happened by the white stain. Do one thing, be clean the bathroom daily with a soft cleaning solution like easy- off bang.

In my opinion the best thing that you can do is to change it. But you can also try with some cleaning products
