Are swan babies really ugly like the legend says?

Swan babies are not ugly. They just appear to be a slightly larger version of a duckling. They range in color from pale white to dingy brown-gray, and have longer beaks than ducklings. They also have a very fluffy appearance, which actually makes them cute.

Baby swans or cygnets are very fuzzy and cute. They look similar to ducklings but are larger and less colorful than some duck varieties. White swan babies are gray.
