Are St Bernard dogs good with kids?

They adore children, but they are very big and love to romp and play, they can easily hurt a child unintentionally. You need to train them very well, they love to jump up, and shouldn't be leash walked by someone who isn't strong enough to handle them.

Yes they are just don't encourage rough play simply because they do get so big. Letting a dog chew on your hands is not good play.
