Jackets in their present womenswear and menswear lines reiterate popular trends (vintage-inspired styles, slim fit, etc..) with a high emphasis on cut and material to appeal to the style-savvy and luxury conscious consumer.

While you may occasionally find a fashionable Hugo Boss jacket the brand itself is no longer in fashion. Once the company was taken over several years ago their was a general decline in the brand's perception in the fashion industry.

It's not so much the brand as the style. Leather jackets are always a good bet because they never go out of style as long as they are simple and don't have a bunch of crazy chains and zippers. If you are more "metro", a quilted jacket with a fur lined hood is quite stylish now too.
