Are home gel nail kits any good?

I am thinking about purchasing one but want to know if it is worth the money.

Home gel nail kits can allow you to save time and money of going to a salon. However, you should carefully read the instructions provided with the kit. The process is not complicated, but it is messy and some people find it too difficult. If you are skilled in manicuring your nails, take your time and give it a try.

This may seem like a good idea, but be careful. If false nails are not done right fungi can grow and mess up your nails. I wouldn't do it.

If you cannot your opposite hand very well the gel gets on your skin making them look fake and poorly done.

Depends on how patient you are. It's difficult to work on your own hands, especially if you're very much right- or left-handed. It's a little easier if you're fairly ambidextrous. For most people, it's worth the price to have someone else do the work.

Gel nails are becoming very popular in the artificial nail business. They are widely used for a more natural look, but are generally hard to do on your own.

Home gel nail kits are not worth the money. The glue included with the kit smells bad and does not hold the nails very long. Last time I used them they fell off while I was typing, a serious waste of money.
