Some half coins are worth a lot of money. An example of a half coin is a Spanish piece of eight. Sometimes half coins are also made of precious metals like gold or silver, just being made of these materials is probably worth something.

Yes. Without this half coin you could not buy a shirt amounting to $5.22 centavos,if you got the $5 dollar and 20 centavos,how can you possibly purchase an item if this half coins missing? We must value the smallest penny in our pocket for future expenses. It is not a joke.
