Furthermore, an age of social networking calls for easy uploading and editing, and most digital cameras allow for enough convenience for the average user.

They can be, if you need features that it offers. DSLRs are worth the money if you want a camera system that you can change lenses on. No matter what type of camera you buy, you want to buy one with the biggest sensor and mega pixels that you can afford.

It depends on what you are looking for. If you are just snapping photos for wallet and standard size photos, probably not. But if you are considering large photos or require a lot of detail, then you need magapixles and lots of them. The more megapixles, the finer the detail and the larger you can make your photographs.

An expensive digital camera means there are more qualities that is posesses. The higher the price means the more stuff you can do with it. So, if you are looking for a camera that does a lot and takes worthy pictures, then it would be worth it to invest in an expensive camera.

Well it depends on what you need it for. You can buy a decent camera for around $100. If you need to take really high quality picture then you can spend more for a higher end model. You want really see the difference just for personal use.
