Are cold water faucets built differently from hot water faucets?

Well yes they are in a way. The structuring is different to keep the water cold. The pipe that will be attached to the cold water faucet is thicker in nature. This pipe helps keep the water cold at all times and at the right temperature that is required for it to be in place.
