Are Chevy Blazer and GMC Sonoma transmissions interchangeable?

As far as I'm aware, the S10/Blazer/Sonoma/Jimmy are the same chassis, mostly just different badging and trim. The 4-cylinder and V6 engines will have different transmissions, but a transmission from a V6 blazer will bolt right up to a V6 Sonoma, etc. with minimal fuss. The Oldsmobile Bravada also shares the S10 chassis.

Yes, you might be able to change them. They do share the same GM platform so you will have to try your luck.

I would guess that they would be. They both share the same GM platform and for the most part the same engine and transmission. If they are the same year with the same engine and transmission they should easily interchange. Just keep track of what is taken off as you go and you should be fine.
