Are Black Labs good with hyper dogs?

Labs are almost always great family and pack members. They tend to be hyper themselves for the first three years or so, but this shouldn't be a problem if you already have another high-strung dog. The dogs will keep each other entertained and make less trouble for you.

It probably depends on what kind of dog the hyper dog is. I think that Labs are good with almost any dog but you should do research on both dogs.

My balck lab loves hyper dogs. Labs are energetic in nature so a play pal with the same energy is great for them.

Black labs are good water retrievers and hyper dogs offer them a real challenge. As long as the hyper dog stays on the water surface the labs can hold their own. It's when those cunning K-9's dive that they lose the labs.
